* Use only a couple of credit cards and store the others in a safe place. Don't use them, let them expire and don't reactivate them.
* If credit card debts are less than $2,000. consider a balance transfer. Put all other credit card debts onto one low 0% card and work to pay it off fast.
* If debts are over $5,000 consider debt consolidation, debt counseling, or a home owner's cash out loan to pay off debts.
* Carry cash, budget how much cash you can spend out of each paycheck after the bills have been paid.
Carrying cash can help, we are less willing to spend cash sometimes especially if we know that is all we can get until the next paycheck. Keep focused and know what is coming in and going out for debts. Using cash can help control spending. Ask yourself, do you really need something or just want it before you lay out the cash for impulse spending!
